How LED Light Works
Professional LED Light Panel therapy uses targeted wavelengths of visible light to encourage natural cellular activity in the skin. At Esthetics by Liliya we add this therapy to facials so light can support increased circulation, stimulate collagen activity, help repair and protect healthy skin, and assist in reducing pore appearance without invasive procedures.
The effects you experience depend on your skin’s current condition and the primary facial you choose. LED is a complementary enhancement that helps the skin respond more effectively to cleansing, exfoliation, and topical treatments, rather than replacing those core modalities or guaranteeing a specific clinical outcome.
What to Expect During Session
When added to a facial, the LED panel is positioned over your face while you remain comfortably reclined. The treatment is non-invasive; your esthetician monitors comfort and skin response as light is applied. It is intended as a gentle enhancement to the main facial rather than a separate intensive procedure.
There is typically no recovery period required after LED light is applied. Your esthetician will suggest routine aftercare and protective measures such as sunscreen. Because this is an add-on service, any specific post-treatment instructions will also reflect the primary facial’s recommendations.
Local Benefits and Seasonal Timing
Esthetics by Liliya serves Mequon clients along the Port Washington Road corridor and visitors near the Mequon Nature Preserve and town center. The add-on format fits commuter schedules around I-43 and Port Washington Road, making short enhancements easy before or after errands, work, or outdoor time along the Lake Michigan shoreline.
LED add-ons are especially popular November through February, when colder weather and indoor heating can leave skin looking dull. Clients in the Mequon area add LED to boost circulation, support cellular repair, and improve the way skin responds to their primary facial during those colder months.
